Many of Nong Nooch’s gardens follow specific themes. For example, there are just on 4 acres of land dedicated to French gardens that were inspired by the Palace of Versailles in the 17th century

Several sections of Nong Nooch are set in a specific theme.

One favorite of mine is the Stonehenge garden. As you can guess, this masterpiece has been modeled after the famous prehistoric monument in England named Stonehenge. The draw-dropping ring of large standing stones that some say was erected over 5,000 years ago.

Animal Sculpture gardens are where you will find amazing sculptures of animals such as deer, lamas, leopards, kangaroos, and camels.

Walking down the mind blowing Butterfly Hill you will find that all the flower beds are laid out to resemble a butterfly featuring some really colorful flowers.

A few of the many other gardens are Bonsai garden, Desert Rose garden, Italian garden, Orchid garden, Cycad valley, and Bromeliad display garden.

If you do not already know, Thailand is well known for its very beautiful orchids, and Nong Nooch garden is no exception. With over 650 different species in amazing technicolor, it is really a sight to behold.

Another thing Nong Nooch is famous for is its variety of palms. Currently, more than 1,100 species of palms grow in the gardens, more than anywhere else in the world.

Nong Nooch Tropical Gardens Pattaya also has one of the largest collections of cycad species in the world. Cycads are mostly found in tropical environments and can live a very long time, some, up to many hundreds of years. Unfortunately, many species are becoming rare.

This fantastic garden center has been working with many organizations such as the IUCN (the International Union for the Conservation of Nature) to study Cycads in order to create extraordinary collections and help save the most threatened ones in order to maintain these beautiful plants for the future.

You can also see collections of cactuses and fat plants also known as succulents. These are normally found in very dry conditions such as deserts and though Thailand is normally too humid for such plants, Nong Nooch as found a way to grow these outdoors for us all to see

There is a massive collection of hundreds of species of Heliconia and Zingiberales is also in the gardens. These beautiful flowers, some of which are native to Thailand, are known for their very bright colours.

When visiting Nong Nooch gardens, you can enjoy a number of shows. View a varied program of Thai cultural and traditional performances like Thai wedding ceremony, traditional Thai dance performed by dancers wearing elegant traditional Thai dress, and musical performances.

You can also watch a demonstration of ancient fighting techniques like sword fighting, martial arts, and even a demonstration of soldiers fighting on elephants like in the days of the Ayutthaya Kingdom.
